My Plans for 2025

To be honest, I don’t even know how to start writing something here. My plan has always been to write by hand, without the help of any AI to edit or make my text intentionally captivating. This is my first article here, if I can even call it an article. Anyway, today I plan to talk about some plans for this year. I know that many people usually set goals at the beginning of the year, but over time, 90% of them end up not being accomplished. My goal here is not to talk about motivation or procrastination, but rather about what I intend to do throughout the year and whether I will achieve and fulfill these goals.

Contributing and Learning with the Open Source Community

Last year, I contributed to some projects – some more relevant, others less so – but they helped me a lot in overcoming the fear of creating a fork and trying to solve an issue. I know there are many ways to contribute to open source, something that until last year seemed literally impossible to me. I thought I needed to know a lot about each project, but after discovering this site How to Contribute to Open Source, I was able to clear up many doubts.

I won’t go into too much detail about this now, but I want to continue contributing to and learning from the open source community. This experience has been incredible, and I intend to explore it even further.

Content Creation

For a long time, and to be honest, even today, I still have a certain prejudice against the overexposure on social media. Many times, it seems that some people end up mixing their professional and personal lives, which I’ve always found a bit strange. Despite having a more "low profile" presence, I realize that nowadays, demonstrating authority in a particular field has grown significantly with the help of content creation. Positioning yourself and sharing what you think, as long as it doesn’t offend anyone, is something that greatly aids professional growth.

Academic Production

Currently, I am coordinating a scientific initiation group to develop a project related to artificial intelligence. We are still studying how best to develop the project, and I will probably bring some updates in other articles here. I intend to get more and more involved in the academic field, as I see it as a great opportunity to learn new things and truly write about innovation. I still have some time until I graduate, and until then, I hope to contribute to various academic topics.
